Added option to set/disable the “News & Interests” Windows 10 taskbar icon that just started popping up in a recent update. Tweaks > Taskbar tab > Set News & Interests   The same feature was added to Tweaky v1.5.21 also just released.

Made a change to the way most custom apps will execute when launched from d7x, to prevent a bug from occurring in the custom app itself (under certain circumstances.)  This is a required update, as some behavior has been noted with certain custom apps that is resolved by this update.

Fixed a bug causing d7x to report event log warnings instead of errors (when errors were present) since the last boot in the System Info tab > Alerts box. Doubled the threshold of the RAM upgrade alert for all versions of Windows. Windows 8.x/10 was doubled from 4GB to 8GB (meaning less than 8GB and the RAM upgrade alert is triggered.) Windows Vista/7 was doubled from 2GB to 4GB, and Windows XP (why do we still support this?) was doubled from 1GB to 2GB. Fixed:  d7x would re-download some custom apps regardless of whether or not the app was just downloaded, ignoring the custom app’s redownload settings. Fixed:  d7x was not preventing web browsers from popping up during program uninstalls.  This has been fixed so now a program uninstall won’t pop up or wait on a web browser window.  As a result of the current configuration, you may (or may not) see a command console window flash briefly when […]
