Lots of exciting enhancements and accomplishments were made recently on the BETA and lots of testing done. It appears the product is now ready for it’s first official release, so here it is!
dSupportSuite is a white-label combination automated maintenance and monitoring application designed for technicians to resell to their clients as part of a subscription based plan. It combines a nice user interface branded with your name/logo, powerful automated maintenance routines, automatic system restore point creation, disk health monitoring (via event logs,) a comprehensive event log monitoring rule system, an optional daily heartbeat and health check, and a highly configurable custom apps system for running your favorite 3rd party maintenance apps and malware scanners.
The most exciting new features besides the integration of all of these powerful tools in one, is the improvements to the D7-compatible custom apps system which can now take actions based on errorlevel. This enables you to utilize a virus/malware scanner (such as Emsisoft’s command line scanner included as an example custom app) to scan for malware, and only if found, send an email alert to the tech and/or the client.
