Unexpected Server Downtime – RESOLVED
UPDATE (1:30 pm ET): Servers are migrated and in perfect working condition.
They should be working for you as soon as DNS changes propagate to you.
If you are on an affected system you can try the command “ipconfig /flushdns” from the Run box / command prompt (admin) to hurry it up a bit.. if that doesn’t work perhaps flushing the cache on your router (try power off/on to reboot it) and then performing the above command will help.
What is DNS Propagation? I found a good article to explain it here if you are not familiar with it: https://kb.intermedia.net/article/797
Original post following:
We’re having some unexpected server downtime today for several servers affecting the following services:
- CryptoPrevent Bulk/Resale License Activation
- d7II cloud services affecting online configuration storage and SFX_Mini deployment
- d7 and d7II cloud configuration/definition sharing services
We’re in the process of a quick server migration on the affected servers and we’re hoping DNS propagation will occur for everyone soon
