What’s new with D7 for non-U.S. users and D7 email users
First, with v4.8.8 just released, I am fixing a bug with my encryption/decryption method of storing your email password, that was introduced in v4.8.5 – if your email actions within D7 quit working at v4.8.5 then this was the culprit. Regardless, with the v4.8.8 update you will be prompted to confirm your stored email password is correct before it is re-encrypted with my new encryption routine. If you were affected by this, sorry about that!!! Either way, the new encryption routine is much more reliable and secure.
Second, for non-U.S. based D7 users, you’re in luck as of v4.8.7!
I have added the option to display dates in DD/MM/YYYY format instead of the default MM/DD/YYYY.
The new date option can be found in D7 Config > General Behavior.
This affects the Info tab Windows installation date, minidump date reported, etc., the Reporting features, ERUNT backup location when storing by date, and DataGrab’s date feature.
If you will be using the DD/MM/YYYY format, (and I’m sure most on these forums will) and discover that I am missing something else in D7 that needs the date altered, please let me know.
